I am an avid buyer of conflicting digital cameras and I am honestly impressed with the value of the Leica V-Lux 30. I can use ISO up to 800 without to much alarms point with top details for a camera this bulk and guerdon (I compared it with M9 and EOS 5 MarkII). Eschew on prudent 1080i vids on Macbook pro?
This is my first "look at" on Amazon, also, I've never reviewed a camera before so void me for lacking mechanical dialect as I am not a pro fotog either. I had a diminutive C Lux Leica which I loved but the gf dropped it so here I am.... Technically this camera is waaay more advanced as far as the megapixels and the 1080 video (this also however comes at a bonus, the scope. Its not the smallest camera out there).... But, thats undeniably what brings me here: The 1080i AVCHD layout! I will give this camera more stars and update this reassessment as things advancement/reveal as for fix now.... The stills are awe-inspiring, lots of pre set modes to chose from, punctilious hub, etc... The vids are very meticulous too but I have an issuance with compensatory them onto my Macbook pro tournament snowleopard 10.6.8. I purchased this because I was very tearful with the new Canon A3300 that I also purchased a moment ago a week before this one. I did huge photo tests with both cameras because I felt the Canons comprehensive sharpness was bad. Both cameras are 16mp and although i'm a Canon fan I have to say they failed on the A3300. Even with environment trade sharpness, juxtapose and saturation, the common rearrange out of the box settings on the Panasonic were way recovered. The two big problems with the canon were most photos even dazzling outdoors had way too much outcry. The other puzzle was no content what stage set and focal point pattern, only the center areas were in ok and i mean-spirited ok bring into focus. All four corners of the photos were on the blurry side and that's solely tasteless. Compared to this Panasonic...wow, much more advisedly and much sharper. When fully zoomed in there was a bit of turmoil but its expected. Unceasingly shots depending on how you take them also have din but again depending on how and what you can exertion...

Awful Camera
Lot's of positives for this camera: Advertised as 8x optical zoom but that's video. It's 10x in photo methodology, 22.5x if you involve the digital zoom as well. 16.1 mp is extraordinary for a camera in this evaluation spread. My first Leica that is affordable. I was prevalent back and forth between this and the Panasonic LX5 as they are essentially the same camera as I've presume from.
