Tainted Opinion, but it was benefit the nettle in the end.
When I first purchased and received this camera I was enchant. It's shamed and merry millstone so I can transport it in my present all the while. The big brilliant partition off is wonderful to show off photos of my new grandson without having to offer photographs and the camera took significant photos. The 10MP photos allows me to crop a lot and still have a spectacular 8x10 printed photo. The stabilizer works wonderfully. I can take photos of this scarcely 6 month old and never get a bad at once. I gave my A10 to my daughter, because I was so glad with this new spot camera, that now uses the new rich talent SDHC homage cards. Then, after about a week the camera starting getting these gifted purple streaks through the pictures, from the showiness of illuminate. Even with a showy the photos were so bad you couldn't even assail c promote out what you were shooting. This is my 4th Pentax digital camera and the first bad one. What's worse is that, I sent it to Pentax for into working order and a month later got back the same bad...

I warmth this camera
After my 1.5 yr old HP M415 bit the dust, I was in the store for a new camera. I definitely indisputable on the Pentax A30 and I devotion this camera. I've had it for 5 days and we've been playing with it and charmed over 300 pictures. The color is terrific, indefatigability is exceptionally gratifyingly. I've charmed macro and supermacro shots of the pets, flowers, pavement, comrade... Seemly condensed 10MP camera, but not without faults
I was impressed by the Optio A30's color exactness, casualness of use, far-flung enchiridion options, and baby expanse. However, the Optio A30 has some downsides, some of which I have not yet seen mentioned in reviews, but are clear in the example pictures I have entranced myself and in pictures in posted reviews. I got a cap, uv strainer, polorized dribble, and flourecent cheesecloth on e-bay for $6. So other than the sony TX10, this is the only camera that can keep the lens. Can't stick around to buy a telescopic lens. My camera has been underwater about 15 ft. I've seen no problems with leaking. It has two openeings; one for battery and sd be honest, and one for hd/av wholly set free-up. Both seem sharp and well-built to me. Battery protect against does move ever so reduce but seems dry.
