I purchased this 0.45X Major Aspect supplementary lens to endear to my HV30 Canon HD camcorder. Loyal standing lenses for the wherewithal, construction has some bugs.
I've reach-me-down Macro lenses before, so I cute much knew what to envisage. The +1 and +2 sizes present oneself a petty enlargement of your representative. The +4 is a stuff b merchandise ordinary build-up without much (if any) distortion. The +10 lens is a damn!! It's like having a telephoto lens for objects within 1 foot of your camera. Evidently, there is a lot of lens curvature if you zoom in through the +10 lens, and my only squawk is that you can't zoom through 100% (I've found that the concentrate caps at about 75% zoom...for any idea that's not simply distressing the lens, that is). Some people might not like the chromatic smearing and distortion along the sides of the state, but I expect it looks cool-headed. Extra, it doesn't varnish *that* much if you don't zoom in too far. People that impecuniousness to enlarge without getting distortion can synthesize the +1,+2, and +4 lenses together, for a courteous amplification that doesn't colour or reflection as much as the +10...

Horrendous output
I am very chuffed with this by-product. I had some concerns from reading other reviews, but absolute to direction anyway. It works excessive, but you in fact want to use a tripod, particularly with the 10X. The autofocus does not labour with these on my camera, but that's OK, because I can still use the handbook heart. Colossal consequence for the fee!

Excellent Value
These are a horrific buy. You can't flog the bonus for added pliantness. They appropriate unquestionably and do their job (magnifying the perception) in point of fact well. I use these to take portrait of jewelry for an auction assembly and in a studio mise en scene and they round out wonderful. It is a inconsiderable harder predominantly with +10 to plug insects in complexion as the DOF is so uninspired you could distinct on the grasshopper's richness and the legs will be out of distinct.
