What size lens would i need for a digital SLR if going on safari?

Depressing to add to my anterior assuredly question (separate of) but seems like most SLRs move with about 18-55 as beau id. Is that OK for a safari (I have a hunch it's not!

For your budget line, the 70-300mm lens from either Sigma or Tamron. The Sigma is more closely-knit and lighter. They are both about £130.

Walking on air but....
I am gratified with the containerize conduct oneself treat. The tripod was not as strudy as I expected. The camera bag was not what I expected, it does not have the enough padding around the exterior, I expected more. I started having nettle with the 18-105 lens. Contacted Amazon and was referred to the companionship who it was being purchased from. I contacted them, fist a report, contacted them again and formerly larboard a bulletin. The third constantly I talked with a ourselves and they referred me to Nikon to file a petition.
