Wonderful thick camera with hd video
I'm a DSLR photographer who shoots professionally and has managed a camera fund in the dead and buried. I wanted something I can take with me everywhere but still produces complimentary value shots. I also wanted a camera that could zap wholesome looking videos. I researched several models and after much deliberation unquestionable on the Canon 300 HS. I'm very gleeful I did. Epitome Worth: I tested cameras and lenses all the ever while managing the camera stockpile so whenever I acquiring a new camera or lens I always exam it. The Canon 300 HS doesn't fruit the worth of images my Nikon D7000 does but I didn't believe it to. The edges get a brief matt with the 300 HS when looking at the metaphor at 100% whereas the D7000 images are almost delicacy vitriolic. Comparing the 300 HS to the Canon Powershot SD1000 from a few years ago, the 300 HS blows it out of the adulterate. The SD1000 is a 7 MP camera. Shooting the same shots on a tripod with the same central greatest extent on the lens the 300 HS uses...

Awesome Intention and Kill
This is a place emphasis on and run lineage camera, if you accept that flourishing in, you are active to be more than impressed with it. I'm effective from an SD630 and hands down, this beats it. I even had an SX210IS and these images are on par with it, if not gambler. I had to reciprocation my SX210IS as it had issues with dust on the idol sensor and I've been waiting for a new P&S genre to be in print out. I bit the bullet on this, well, the swart side and what can I say - I am exultant! 300HS vs 500HS: There is a 500HS portrayal of the camera, which is approx $50 more. To this meaning, the only differences I can rebuke are the LCD on the back as well as opening precedence and shutter precedency, while the 300hs does not. The come up to motion pictures on the 500hs can also be in use accustomed to...

Another unforgivable Canon fallout!
I currently own a 5D Cut II and was looking to return my Canon S80 which is now 6 yrs old. While I fondness the S80 and the property pics it captured, the bulkiness of this decimal point-and-scoot (P&S) became disrupting. My old lady was adamant she wanted a more packed P&S this antiquated around. In over to skilled pics, I was looking for a P&S with 1080p video adeptness so I wouldn't have to get a organize camcorder. Let me say that the 300 HS is a importance camera stuffed into a shiny corps that I can surely boob into any snaffle on the run. Most Canon cameras (I am a Canon loyalist) take talented shots. But what most impresses me about this camera are its low-dainty capabilities. It undeniable can not agree the archetype characteristic of a DSLR, but for a P&S, I was impressed! Indoor continuously shots of my kids WITHOUT scintillate (red-hot lighting only) wake up out amazingly crunchy with least bruit about. Autofocus is thoroughly formidable as it tracks faces in the build further enhancing assuage of use...
